Italian botticino marble

The Italian Botticino Marble is a classic beige color with unique brown veining patterns. It is quarried from Botticino in the province of Brescia. This Marble is said to have been formed around 190 and 60 million years ago by the various processes of sedimentation and recrystallization of calcareous mud in a sea lagoon. This region had a tropical climate and was thus home to specific organisms and fossils in its lagoon, contributing to the variety of colors and veining patterns in the Marble. The concentration of fossils and organisms included during the sedimentation and recrystallization processes determines the intensity of color and veining of the Botticino Marble.

Botticino Marble is very compact, highly porous, and has excellent water absorption capacity, making it ideal for outdoor design projects. It is resistant to compression and wears and tear due to its high strength. It is a very fine and beautiful marble with exceptional durability, so it is famous for its projects and architects and designers.

Botticino Marble can be used for flooring outdoors, in bathrooms, in living rooms, hotel lobbies, and countertops. Compared to other Italian marbles, it is budget-friendly for customers and is highly used because of its luxurious visual appeal. Italian Botticino marble price is quite high in comparison to other imported Marble. Its slabs are available in thickness of 15-20 mm.
