Carrot pink marble

Carrot Pink Marble is another prevalent variety in pink marble category. This marble gets its name due to the striking similarity of its colour with that of the carrot. It has more shine as compared to the earlier mentioned Udaipur Pink Marble. It is used generously for flooring purposes, in stair casing, as countertops in kitchens and washbasin brinks in the bathroom. It is also used as wall claddings along with the formation and decoration of fountains, pools and mosaics.

Due to its shine and slippery nature, designers avoid its usage in bathrooms since the marble is prone to developing a slippery layer on its surface caused due to standing water for a long duration. The shine of this marble is tarnished when used in areas of rough usage. Hence its application is limited in external flooring purposes.

This natural stone is generally up for grabs in the retail market in polished and honed surface finishes due to their higher demand as a flooring option but sawn off, rock-cut and unpolished surface finishes of this marble are also available depending upon the client requirement. Carrot Pink Marble is also known for its durability and is sold in the form of slabs and tiles. This marble is slightly more premium as compared to the Udaipur Pink Marble and the Carrot Pink Marble price starts on the upwards of Rs41 per square foot depending upon the surface finish type and thickness, which ranges between 16mm to 18mm.
