Opal white marble

Opal white marble is in high demand among home developers for its white shine, robustness and surface finish. It has been used in contemporary modular houses primarily as countertops. This marble is used extensively in the kitchen as a kitchen counter top or to decorate the walls as wall claddings and homemakers don’t shy away from using it in bathrooms as well in the form of wash basin brinks or to add a sense of luxury to the bathroom by fixing the marble to its walls in the form of wall claddings. Marble is also used to highlight other furniture like sofas at the hand rests, and television unit platforms to add a premium feel to them. Opal Marble has a uniform combination of greenish and blackish impurity patterns throughout which provides it with its great texture for which the marble is so popular.

This marble is available commercially in a wide range of options for clients in the form of slabs, tiles and blocks with its thickness ranging between 5mm to 172mm and is on sale in the market in various types like polished, honed or sawn. In India, this marble is mainly processed in the Udaipur industrial areas due to its proximity to the neighbouring limestone mines. Despite all its merits and demand among the Indian interior designers and house owners, Opal white marble is surprisingly pocket friendly as compared to its other counterparts.
